About the Role
This position serves as the ECAD Librarian and Mentor Graphics VX2.4 / EDM Contact, acting as a critical bridge between design and component engineering. The role is dedicated to establishing the proper structure and layout of electrical schematic symbols and footprints, ensuring that library data integrates seamlessly with schematic and layout design tools.
Operating with moderate to minimal oversight from senior technical personnel, the incumbent will review and approve symbols, footprints, and component database information. A key aspect of the day-to-day workflow involves identifying and resolving component issues while leveraging a solid understanding of basic functional and performance parameters found in electrical component datasheets. The role requires effectively communicating project status and technical issues to management and design team members through both oral and written channels.
Hiring Process & Eligibility
Candidates must be US Citizens. The work schedule is to be determined (TBD), and the position is offered on an hourly basis with a rate of $70-$80 per hour, contingent upon the candidate's education and experience level.
