About the Role
We are seeking a Full-Time Dump Truck / Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our local operations team. In this role, you will safely operate Dump-Trucks, Hook Trucks, and/or Roll-off Trucks to transport and deliver roll-off containers according to a daily schedule. Your primary focus will be ensuring the secure movement of materials to designated recycling facilities or landfills while maintaining strict adherence to safety and compliance regulations.
This is a strictly local position with no over-the-road travel required. The role is designed for drivers who are comfortable and authorized to operate manual transmissions, a critical requirement for this specific fleet. You will be responsible for performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate logs, time sheets, expense reports, and dispatch documentation.
Work Schedule & Compensation
The standard schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. While weekends are not required, the role includes occasional mandatory overtime between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, which is compensated at time and a half. The starting pay range is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Hiring Process & Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid Class B CDL with at least two years of experience and an active manual transmission classification. A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past two years is required. All applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
