Begin a fulfilling career with the State of Indiana, joining one of the largest employers in the state. With opportunities across 60+ agencies, the State offers competitive compensation, a robust benefits package, and a commitment to work-life balance. Most importantly, you will have the chance to make a real and measurable impact on the lives of Hoosiers across Indiana.
The Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) is a division within the Family and Social Services Administration, receiving approximately 18 percent of the state's budget to ensure vital health care coverage to about one in four Hoosiers. OMPP strives to build programs and processes that enable Hoosiers to live in fully engaged communities and reach their greatest emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Our mission is to support individual and community well-being through effective and efficient programs, remarkable collaborations, measurable impact, and an energized staff fully engaged with this mission.
As a Dually-Eligible Business Systems Analyst, you will provide analytical support to improve program operations, ensure compliance with federal CMS requirements, enhance managed care oversight, and inform policy decisions impacting the health of Hoosiers enrolled in Medicaid and Medicare. You will work closely with OMPP's Medicaid-Medicare Coordination Manager, serving as the Medicaid point of contact for Indiana's Dually-Eligible Special Needs Plans.
In this role, you will establish and monitor program objectives, KPIs, and actions to achieve them. You will direct, plan, or implement policies to ensure continuing operations and increase productivity. Your day will involve interpreting and explaining policies, rules, regulations, or laws to government officials and individuals, and recommending corrective action plans to solve program problems. You will prepare reports for funding or service implementation and coordinate financial or budget activities to maximize efficiency. Additionally, you will ensure program requirements meet federal and state policies, develop training for employees or consultants, and coordinate communication plans. You may also serve on boards of directors and management committees, while recruiting, selecting, and training employees to ensure clear understanding of responsibilities.
