About the Role
As a Service Technician, you will be the vital link between our medical equipment and the patients who rely on it. This role exists to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery and setup of gaseous oxygen and other medical devices in patients' homes. You will not only transport equipment but also provide critical instructions to clients, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
Your day will involve a mix of on-the-road logistics and on-site patient interaction. You will start your morning by cleaning and preparing equipment, then proceed to deliver and set up devices while adhering to strict safety and regulatory procedures. A significant part of your role involves communication; you will coordinate with Dispatch and Warehouse Managers, update customer service on route changes, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time. Beyond the deliveries, you will maintain the branch building and grounds, manage inventory, and assist team members whenever possible.
Hiring Process
Candidates must possess an excellent driving record and have at least two years of experience in medical equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
