Beyond driving, you will play a key role in the physical logistics of the operation by assisting in the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring the security and safety of the cargo at all times. You will also conduct routine vehicle checks and maintenance to guarantee operational efficiency.
A critical part of this role is maintaining accurate logs of deliveries and travel activities in compliance with federal and state regulations. You will serve as the face of McLane Company during deliveries, providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive image of our brand. Participation in safety meetings and strict adherence to established safety protocols are essential to maintaining our high standards.
