About the Role
Through education and skills development, you will become proficient in operating tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and straight trucks. This position focuses on picking up and delivering trailers between service centers and turn-point locations. The role is designed to build your expertise in safe driving while offering opportunities to expand your skill set with non-driving duties such as forklift operation and dock work.
Working Conditions
You will drive long distances day and night on all types of roads and in all types of weather. The environment involves exposure to noise, vibration, dust, diesel fumes, and hazardous materials shipped under DOT regulations. Hours may vary due to operational needs, and overnight stays may be required for certain schedules.
