The Draftsman/Documentation Specialist II supports the Navy by developing, maintaining, and managing technical drawings, system diagrams, and controlled documentation within IT, network, and engineering environments. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy, standardization, and configuration control of technical documentation across distributed LVC (Live, Virtual, Constructive) systems. You will serve as a bridge between engineering requirements and technical execution, translating complex system needs into precise diagrams and documentation that comply with DoD and Navy standards.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and program staff to validate technical content. Your work will directly support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and change management processes, ensuring that all documentation reflects approved changes. Additionally, you will play a key role in audits, inspections, and accreditation activities by maintaining accurate and current records within document repositories.
This position is contingent upon a contract award. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance, which requires US citizenship and a successful security investigation. Active clearances are preferred.
