As a member of our store team, you will play a vital role in leading an excellent customer and brand experience while promoting sales. This position is the first point of contact for donors, responsible for receiving all donations in an expedient and courteous manner. You will ensure items are placed appropriately in the production room or on the sales floor, maintaining the organization of the space according to picture process map (PPM) standards.
Your day will involve interacting with the community to accept donations, offering receipts to every donor, and identifying potential hazardous items to provide proper disposal locations. You will also assist customers with loading and unloading furniture or large items, write sales tickets for significant goods, and safely operate equipment like pallet jacks and walkie stackers. By cross-training in other store positions and maintaining regular attendance, you contribute to the seamless operation of our retail locations.
