Dog Care Assistant / Enrichment Specialist

About the Role

As a Canine Care & Enrichment Team Member, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and enriching experience for every dog in our care. This is a hands-on, active position perfect for individuals who love dogs, enjoy working as part of a team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A typical day involves approximately 60% of your time supervising playgroups, interacting with dogs, and providing enrichment activities both indoors and outdoors. You will spend another 20% assisting with feeding, kennel transitions, arrivals and departures, and ensuring each dog's individual needs are met. The remaining 20% is dedicated to helping maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary facility for both pets and people.

We are open 365 days a year to serve our customers and their pets. Team members should expect to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule. Holiday coverage is minimal and typically limited to a small number of employees to care for boarding pets, allowing most team members to enjoy holidays with family and friends.
