About the Role
This position serves as a vital support function for FleetPride branches, ensuring the timely expediting of parts for delivery to all company branches and customers. The role is essential for maintaining inventory flow and operational efficiency within the warehouse environment.
The day-to-day responsibilities involve pulling and organizing branch and customer orders based on picking tickets, prioritizing tasks by part number and quantity. You will manually load and unload materials onto pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices, and maintain inventory items in designated storage areas. Additionally, the role requires weighing materials, recording production data, and inspecting stock for wear or defects.
Working Conditions
This role operates in an inside/outside environment with varied temperature changes, as the facility is not climate-controlled. The work environment includes minimal chemical hazards, vibration, dust, and equipment noise. OSHA-approved steel-toed safety shoes are required from the first day on the job.
