The Team Member at Saint Croix National serves as the backbone of our culinary restaurant, which operates year-round. As SCN dramatically expands its food and beverage programs, we are committed to excellence and consistent execution across all operations.
At the core of this position is a solid foundation in kitchen and restaurant maintenance, with a strong emphasis on safety and consistency. You will set high standards while growing your skills throughout the season. This role requires the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and quickly follow directions.
You will work as part of a team to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly. Your day will involve maintaining order and cleanliness throughout all areas of the facility, including handwashing and operating dishwashers, keeping bathrooms fresh, and ensuring the parking lot remains free of trash and debris. Additionally, you will assist with general maintenance on restaurant equipment, support the culinary team when needed, and help Front of House (FOH) staff in the dining room.
We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members. Candidates must be adaptable, dependable, and capable of meeting the physical demands of the position, which include standing for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50 pounds.
This is a seasonal role with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends, typically ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week. We value a team-oriented environment where everyone contributes to a positive guest experience.
