EMPOWER’s Community Based Care program serves families to support the safety, permanency, and well-being of children in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). As the Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) in Metroplex East, EMPOWER ensures a full range of services including foster and kinship care, purchased services, case management, and reunification. As the Permanency Support Director, you will lead the oversight of the Permanency Support units, implementing strategic planning for all aspects of specialty positions within the division. This role involves managing a diverse team, including Adoption Specialists, Family Finders, Independent Living Specialists, and Courtesy Specialists. You will be the driving force behind developing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed, and advocating for cultural sensitivity in every interaction.
