All Achievement Centers for Children & Families (ACCF) employees are required to uphold the mission and vision of ACCF and to foster an environment that promotes the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of each child enrolled. The organization is committed to ameliorating the social challenges faced by low-income children and families through high-quality programming and support.
The Director of Education is a key member of ACCF’s leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of all Out-of-School Time (OST) educational programs across three sites. As a strategic leader, you will oversee curriculum development, program quality, assessment systems, data-driven decision-making, and staff development. Your work ensures that all programming meets rigorous organizational, contractual, and accreditation standards while delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
In this position, you will partner with school district leaders, principals, and community partners to align goals and services. You will also collaborate with internal teams to expand program offerings and ensure integrated support for youth. The role requires a forward-thinking leader who can navigate complex data landscapes to drive program improvements and resource allocation.
Candidates selected for an interview will undergo a comprehensive screening process. This includes pre-employment training requirements, background checks, and drug testing. Successful candidates must complete a 90-day initial probation period and a 40-hour DCF training module. The role also requires the ability to travel between the three OST sites.
The Achievement Centers for Children and Families is an equal opportunity employer. A non-discrimination clause concerning employment opportunity is incorporated in the Employee Policy and Procedure Manual. ACCF will make reasonable accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 as Amended (ADA). We are committed to respectful, positive behavior toward and interactions with children and families, colleagues, volunteers, and visitors.
