The University of Tampa's Office of Advancement is a dynamic and growing team dedicated to driving the University's mission through strategic philanthropy. As a key member of the Advancement leadership structure, the Director of Development reports to the Vice President of Development and collaborates closely with the Executive Vice President of Advancement to secure major and transformational giving.
This position serves as a catalyst for the University's top priorities, managing and engaging a portfolio of major gift prospects to cultivate meaningful relationships and secure gifts of $25,000 and above. The Director will design and implement innovative strategies that elevate philanthropic impact, working extensively across the Advancement division to ensure strategic coordination among all fundraising programs.
In this role, you will partner with the President, Executive Vice President, and various campaign leaders to support institutional goals. You will manage assigned colleges, University initiatives, and designated geographic territories, conducting 10–12 in-person donor meetings monthly to advance fundraising objectives.
