This strategic leadership role is pivotal in defining and owning the long-term data platform and engineering strategy for the enterprise. You will serve as the technical advisor to senior leadership, bridging the gap between complex data engineering concepts and business stakeholders. The position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare domain, including standards like FHIR and HL7, and hands-on experience managing Protected Health Information (PHI).
In this role, you will lead and scale high-performing data platform engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. You will be responsible for establishing technical roadmaps, driving architectural decisions for data ingestion and storage, and guiding the adoption of modern practices such as DataOps and Infrastructure as Code. Your day-to-day will involve influencing cross-functional partners across data science, analytics, product, and clinical teams to deliver reliable data pipelines and platforms that support high availability and performance.
