The Director of Track & Field & Cross-Country serves as the leader of a full-time, 12-month program. This role is designed for a servant leader who embodies the university's principles and covenants while managing the intercollegiate athletic experience. The Director will oversee all aspects of the program, from coaching and recruitment to budget management and student-athlete welfare.
In this position, you will lead a team of coaches to develop student-athletes progressively in their athletic, academic, and spiritual journeys. The role requires fostering strong relationships with alumni, local businesses, and university stakeholders to secure funding and promote a positive image of the program. You will ensure the safety and well-being of athletes while guiding them through eligibility, disciplinary, and personal matters in collaboration with university support services.
