Bell Ambulance is a progressive, client-oriented company devoted to providing high-quality emergency and non-emergency medical services. As a certified and contracted provider in the City of Milwaukee 911 system, we handle more than 120,000 calls annually across 14 locations in southeastern Milwaukee, delivering BLS, ALS, and Critical Care services to a team of over 700 employees.

We are seeking a highly skilled, results-oriented Director of Communications to oversee the operational management and strategic development of our IAED-accredited Communication Center. In this high-traffic urban setting, the center handles over 130,000 calls per year, including 911 and Inter-facility Transfer (IFT)/Discharge calls.
This role is critical to ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, performance, and compliance in all dispatch and call-taking operations. You will drive continuous improvement in response times and resource allocation, serving as a proven leader with deep experience in high-volume EMS services. The Director will foster a "Just Culture" environment that promotes adequate review and feedback while ensuring appropriate accountability, ensuring all personnel are highly proficient in their critical roles.
