The Director of Athletics, Recreation & Wellness serves as the visionary leader for a comprehensive campus ecosystem that includes 16 NCAA Division III varsity programs, intramural sports, clubs, and wellness initiatives. This role exists to advance the university's mission by fostering a student-athlete experience that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.
In this position, you will shepherd the growth of the athletics department, ensuring competitive success in the UMAC and NCAA while advocating for the academic success of student-athletes. Beyond varsity sports, you will lead the recreation and wellness department, providing educational programming that fosters a well-rounded student experience. The Director acts as a visible, engaging leader who bridges the gap between athletics and the academic enterprise, ensuring that both athletic and institutional goals are achieved through integrity and collaboration.
