The Director of Ob/Gyn Quality & Safety is a dual-role position that integrates inpatient and outpatient clinical practice with significant administrative and leadership responsibilities. This role is pivotal in advancing the mission of women's health by working collaboratively with the Chief of Ob/Gyn, the Medical Director of Labor & Delivery, Division Directors, and the Medical Director of the Ob/Gyn clinic.
In this capacity, you will lead quality assurance and improvement initiatives, ensuring that evidence-based best practices and clinical guidelines are seamlessly incorporated into daily clinical workflows. You will partner with physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers to develop strategic and tactical plans that promote patient safety and maximize the efficiency of services. The selected candidate will also hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College, with an academic rank commensurate with their experience and credentials.
