The Director, Engineering & Technical Marketing serves as the critical bridge between market demand and technology innovation at ASE. This position is dedicated to driving market adoption, ecosystem leadership, and revenue growth for ASE's strategic technologies, including chiplet and package architectures, 2.5D/3D integration, heterogeneous integration, and system-in-package solutions.
You will act as the primary liaison between global customers and ASE's internal capabilities. By engaging directly with customer engineers, technologists, and architects across IC design, package, and system levels, you will translate customer product roadmaps and industry trends into actionable packaging technology strategies. This role requires deep technical dialogue to influence early-stage architecture and foster ecosystem collaboration.
Working in close partnership with Sales, Factory Engineering, and R&D teams, you will align customer requirements with ASE's technology development roadmaps. Your mission is to represent ASE at industry forums, conferences, and consortia, expanding strategic partnerships and translating advanced packaging leadership into sustained business growth.
You will operate at the intersection of technology and business, advising factory engineering teams on innovations and qualifications in collaboration with foundry partners, equipment suppliers, and materials providers. This role is pivotal in strengthening ASE's leadership in heterogeneous integration technology by ensuring that internal development efforts are directly responsive to the evolving needs of the global semiconductor market.
