About the Role
Peraton is seeking a Sector Contracts Director, a senior leadership position reporting to the Sector Vice President for Contracts. This role is designed for an experienced contracts management professional capable of sustaining accountability for the sector's contracts function. You will provide leadership in contract negotiation, analysis, and administration, while guiding proposal preparation and managing customer engagement to achieve the company's annual operating plan.
In this position, you will act as a strategic advisor to senior executives, including the Sector President and Chief Legal Officer, to resolve compliance issues and ensure satisfaction of legal requirements and customer objectives. You will identify risk areas, interpret terms and conditions, and lead negotiation teams on complex contractual issues, including intellectual property components and overseas support contracts. Beyond strategic oversight, you will foster a culture of excellence by leading, mentoring, and developing a geographically dispersed team of contract professionals, ensuring high-quality performance in complex solicitations and bid responses.
As the primary liaison for the sector, you will serve as the focal point for communications with senior executives, legal, finance, and business teams to resolve disputes. You will advocate for data precision within systems and tools while cultivating strong working relationships with customers' contractual leaders to drive optimal operational and financial performance.
