About the Role

The Dietary Aide is a vital member of our food services team, working closely with the facility's Dietician, Dietetic Technician, and other supervisors to implement recommended changes and maintain high standards. You will play a key role in the daily rhythm of our kitchen, from reviewing menus prior to food preparation to inspecting special diet trays to ensure accuracy.

Your day will involve coordinating dietary services with other departments, processing diet changes received from Nursing Services, and assisting in establishing the food service production line to ensure meals are prepared on time. Additionally, you will handle administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms and reports, and assist in inventorying and storing incoming food and supplies. The role also includes performing dishwashing and cleaning procedures to assure utensils are readily available for the next meal.

Hiring Process

Schedule

Candidates must be able to work the shifts listed, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The role requires availability for 3-5 days a week as needed.
