About the Role
Wells Nursing Home, Inc. is seeking a Certified Diet Technician to support our commitment to resident health and well-being. This role serves as a vital link between clinical nutrition, food service operations, and nursing care, ensuring that every resident receives personalized dietary support tailored to their medical needs and preferences.
In this position, you will work collaboratively with the Dietitian, Food Service Director, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of nutritional care. Your day-to-day involves conducting nutritional assessments, monitoring resident intake, and updating care plans to reflect changes in health status. You will also play a key role in menu planning, ensuring meals meet specific dietary requirements while remaining appealing to residents.
Hiring Process
Candidates must hold a Certified Dietetic Technician (DTR) credential or equivalent and possess at least one year of experience in clinical dietetics, patient counseling, or food service management. An Associate or Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field is required.
