About the Role
We are immediately hiring an Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Kapolei, Hawaii. This role is designed for a Maintenance Repair Mechanic who wants to work on Heavy Duty Vehicles in a safe, state-of-the-art environment where safety is always the first priority.
You will join a team that provides on-the-job paid training, issues PPE and uniforms, and provides a tool and boot allowance. The position involves performing vehicle maintenance and repair duties, conducting standard component inspections, and diagnosing mechanical and electronic problems. You will interact with customers and drivers to determine the nature of complaints and utilize shop management systems for documentation.

Interview Requirements: This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. To become a Ryder employee, you must:
- Obtain a CDL within 6 months after hire.
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test, DOT physical, and road test.
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
Note: Some positions may require additional screening, such as employment/education verification, motor vehicle records checks, or specific customer badging/background requirements.
