Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions is a premier global transportation provider delivering essential and innovative logistics and technology services. Headquartered in Reading, PA, the company is driven by a dedication to excellence and a commitment to customer success, helping companies and people move forward.
As an experienced Technician at Penske, you will serve as a respected, experienced lead at your location—a master technician who sets an example and informally mentors others. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the newest and best-maintained fleet of vehicles in the industry, ensuring our customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road.
You will work on a wide variety of equipment, not limited to a single manufacturer. While you will be trusted to work independently on major and minor repairs, you will also receive training on Penske's vehicle maintenance processes and cutting-edge technology. We pride ourselves on maintaining clean facilities and providing all necessary major shop tools, ensuring you have the time and resources to do the job right.
This role offers a stable career with significant opportunities for growth. You will be part of a team that values safety and reliability as top priorities. We recognize your skills and experience, relying on your leadership while supporting your continued development through Penske's Technician Certification Program, which is certified as a Continuing Automotive Service Education provider.
Interested candidates must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background screening, which includes criminal checks, past employment, and education verification. As this position is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and designated as safety-sensitive, successful candidates must also pass a drug screening.
Specific requirements for this role include maintaining a current driver qualification file, which consists of an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records from prior employers. CDL holders will undergo a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of their start date and are subject to an FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone can succeed.
