About the Role

This position serves as a vital support pillar within our maintenance operations, bridging the gap between drivers and our technical teams. The role is designed for individuals with a general knowledge of heavy-duty and light-duty trucks, including gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems. You will be the first line of defense in vehicle safety, assisting drivers with daily post-trip and vehicle safety inspections while conducting thorough safety checks during safety lanes and preventative maintenance (PM) schedules.

Your day will involve performing basic repairs and maintenance on a wide array of equipment, from rear-load and front-load trucks to roll-offs, grapples, and port-a-pots. You will work closely with A & B technicians and drivers to identify issues, discuss preventative techniques to minimize future repairs, and utilize factory service manuals to execute repairs. Beyond the hands-on work, you will maintain a clean and safe work area compliant with corporate and OSHA standards, ensuring the shop and grounds are organized and ready for operation.
