This position serves as a Radiologic Technologist within our Community Campus, performing routine diagnostic procedures with a focus on identifying each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs. Under general supervision, the role may involve individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees, ensuring high standards of care and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will be part of a team dedicated to delivering quality radiologic services. While the role includes routine duties, it also offers opportunities for professional growth, particularly for those seeking to transition into leadership or training capacities as they gain experience.
This position is located at the Community Campus. The role operates on an evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The schedule includes rotational weekends and holidays, as well as required on-call coverage to ensure continuous patient care.
Candidates with an A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, along with a NYS license or eligibility, and no prior experience will be considered for appointment to an entry-level (SL1) position. Those without a NYS License/Registration at the time of appointment must obtain a Limited Permit. ARRT certification is preferred for entry-level candidates but must be obtained within one year of appointment for all other levels. Current CPR certification is required at the time of appointment.
