At CACI, background investigation is more than research and reports; it's your chance to contribute to the safety and security of our nation. Since 2004, our staff has been an industry-leading provider of federal background investigations, employing investigators across all 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other U.S. territories.
We foster a culture based on integrity, strong ethics, quality, and professionalism. For over 60 years, the principles of CACI's unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success. We place character and innovation at the center of everything we do, ensuring our solutions align with the nation's highest priorities.
As a DHS Credentialed Background Investigator, you will join a high-performing group dedicated to a higher purpose: ensuring the safety of our nation. You will work in an environment of trust where you have the autonomy to take the time you need through a unique flexible time off benefit.
Your day will involve conducting comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, associates, and references to resolve material issues and establish the background, reputation, and character of individuals under investigation. You will document all information received and submit detailed reports within strict timelines. This role offers the opportunity to work on multiple field investigation contracts and includes Temporary Duty (TDY) opportunities at locations across the U.S. for two or more weeks.
We value the flexibility that allows our employees to balance quality work and their personal lives. As a valued team member, you will have access to robust learning resources to make your ambitions a reality. Together, we will advance our nation's most critical missions, build on our lengthy track record of business success, and find opportunities to break new ground in your career and our legacy.
