The Senior DevSecOps Engineer provides technical leadership and subject-matter expertise to support the design, implementation, and execution of secure, automated CI/CD pipelines within the TDM-CATALYST environment. This role is critical for integrating security and automation best practices throughout the full application lifecycle, ensuring the reliable, scalable, and compliant delivery of software solutions.
You will partner across engineering, architecture, product management, and development teams to coordinate DevSecOps tools and toolchains. The position involves providing guidance on industry best practices, supporting requirements analysis and system integration, and identifying opportunities to improve automation, reliability, and security. While this role may lead activities across multiple teams and offer mentorship to mid- and junior-level engineers, it focuses on technical oversight rather than formal people management.

Experience supporting secure software development and deployment within the Department of Defense or other federal environments. Demonstrated experience integrating security controls and compliance requirements into CI/CD pipelines. Relevant technical certifications, such as Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or equivalent), DevOps or DevSecOps certifications, and Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, or equivalent). Experience supporting high-visibility or mission-critical systems.
