We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. This role exists to implement infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and ensure the monitoring, reliability, and scalability of our services. You will work with a dynamic and innovative team, supporting the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS (especially EKS) as well as non-cloud edge infrastructure on-premise and portable equipment. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with development teams to integrate applications and continuously improve processes to ensure high availability and performance.
Enlighten utilizes a hybrid work approach designed to help you make lasting relationships with your team while maintaining the flexibility to work from home when needed for focused results. This role is performed in a hybrid environment, requiring an average of 2-3 days per week at the customer site in San Antonio, TX, or at the Enlighten office, with the ability to flex as needed.

Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Accumulo, Ceph, Spark, NiFi, Kafka, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Hive, Drill, Impala, Trino, Presto, etc. Experience with containers, EKS, Diode, CI/CD, and Terraform.
Skills: Kubernetes, Container Orchestration, Configuration Management, Ci/cd, Automation, Aws, Linux, Bash, Python, Big Data.
Education: Bachelors in related field required with 9+ years experience; Masters in related field with 7 years experience (alternative); High School Diploma with 13 years experience (alternative).
