As a Cardiology Device Clinic Nurse, you will serve as a highly skilled, technically adept professional dedicated to assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED). This includes pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy, and implantable loop recorders.
In this role, you will interrogate, evaluate, and program implanted cardiac devices for in-person patient encounters, utilizing programmers for all major manufacturers. You will recognize device abnormalities, manage remote transmissions, and serve as an expert resource for technicians, cardiologists, and other healthcare providers. You will also provide cross-coverage to satellite facilities at Rust Medical and Santa Fe Medical Center, ensuring seamless care across our network.

Completion of a professional CIED program through Arrhythmia Technologies Institute (ATI), PrepMD, or similar program. CIED management experience. International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification.
