Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOrganize and coordinate all aspects of special fundraising events
- check_circleSolicit event sponsors and coordinate event volunteers
- check_circleWrite letters and proposals to request funding from individuals, corporations, and foundations
- check_circleMeet with individuals, organizations, and groups to solicit financial support
- check_circleProduce and distribute a quarterly newsletter
- check_circleSolicit corporate and business support for special projects
- check_circleAssist the Executive Director with community relations efforts, including public speaking and attending meetings
- check_circleWork closely with the Board of Directors to achieve fundraising and public relations goals
- check_circleCollaborate with local media to maximize publicity for the organization’s mission, accomplishments, and events
Requirements
