In this position, you will detail simple projects with supervision to provide concise, accurate, and complete descriptions of all rebar, mesh wire, and related concrete reinforcing products for fabrication, delivery, installation, and invoicing. Your primary goal is to execute these tasks in the most efficient manner possible while cultivating a customer service relationship that maximizes profits for Nucor Rebar Fabrication.
You will serve as a vital liaison between the contractor, engineer, placer, and detailer, representing Nucor Rebar Fabrication throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves creating shop drawings, managing specific detailing projects, and developing a foundational knowledge of rebar and concrete reinforcing products. You will review and verify drawings, dates, specifications, addenda, and other contractual information, while also pre-planning projects to manage critical paths, scopes, and schedules. Additionally, you will review all changes, provide information for change orders, and be involved in resolving construction conflicts or disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
