About the Role
We are seeking a CAD Drafter / Detailer to join our team in Denver, CO. In this position, you will be responsible for the design and placement drawings for post-tensioned concrete structures. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those with existing AutoCAD experience who possess a can-do attitude; we are willing to train the right candidate.
You will serve as a key liaison between our team and our customers, building professional relationships at project start-up. Your day-to-day will involve developing construction joint layouts and sequences, creating drawing submittal schedules, and monitoring progress to ensure adherence to customer construction requirements. You will identify and implement solutions for construction problems, produce installation drawings and calculations, and manage revisions based on approved comments or structural updates.
Collaboration is central to this role. You will coordinate with the Operations Department to ensure materials are fabricated and delivered according to the customer's schedule, manage material takeoffs for change orders, and maintain electronic records of all submittals and correspondence in compliance with company policy.
