About the Role

The Design Engineer is a pivotal member of our engineering team, dedicated to driving innovation and precision in product development. This role exists to bridge the gap between conceptual ideas and manufacturable reality, ensuring that every design not only meets rigorous customer and operational requirements but also adheres to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

In this position, you will serve as the technical backbone for our product lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Production, Procurement, and Quality—to guide designs from initial concept through to full-scale production. Your work involves creating detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and comprehensive technical documentation, all while maintaining a proactive, solution-oriented approach to complex technical challenges.

The Day-to-Day

Your day will be a blend of deep technical work and collaborative problem-solving. You will spend significant time developing detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software, ensuring that every tolerance and specification aligns with industry standards. Beyond the computer, you will actively participate in product development phases, supporting prototype builds and testing to validate designs against specifications.

Collaboration is central to your success. You will engage with Engineering leadership to set departmental goals, work with manufacturing teams during product launches to resolve design issues, and review Engineering Change Requests to drive continuous improvement. You will also manage multiple design projects under tight deadlines, balancing creativity with a highly detail-focused commitment to accuracy.
