About the Role
DCS is seeking a performance-driven Design Configuration Manager to support critical US Army programs. This role is designed for individuals passionate about taking on meaningful challenges and contributing to innovative solutions in a fast-evolving mission space. You will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment, focusing on configurations management, logistics, engineering, and technical support.
In this position, you will operate within a concurrent engineering environment, collaborating closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, draftsmen, and design/manufacturing engineers. Your day-to-day will involve managing design drawings, engineering changes, and notices, as well as planning and conducting design audits. You will also be responsible for developing and administering Configuration Management Plans and preparing for major configuration audits.
Location and Requirements
This position supports multiple locations. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory. Candidates must possess a BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Engineering Design, with five years of experience, two of which must be in a supervisory or management capacity. Alternatively, one academic year in an accredited Engineering Design-related post-secondary program may substitute for one year of experience, and five years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement. The ability to obtain a secret clearance as needed is also desired.
