This position serves as a vital support pillar within the Dental Department, bridging clinical care and administrative efficiency. Reporting to the Medical Director, the role is designed to ensure seamless patient experiences by assisting with dental procedures, managing laboratory tasks, and maintaining the operational flow of the office.
The Dental Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the dentist to deliver high-quality patient care. This includes performing clinical tasks such as coronal polishing and sealant placement, while ensuring patients remain comfortable and fully informed about their treatment plans. The role also encompasses the technical responsibility of capturing diagnostic-quality radiographs and maintaining the sterility and readiness of all operatories.
Beyond clinical duties, this position plays a key role in the front desk operations when designated. From triaging emergency patients and managing appointment schedules to handling patient check-ins and chart retrieval, the assistant ensures the department runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will balance technical precision with strong interpersonal skills, fostering professional relationships with staff, clients, and the public while maintaining a detail-oriented approach to dental charting and material preparation.
