Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist the dentist during implant and restorative procedures
- check_circlePrepare, disinfect, and sterilize operatories and instruments
- check_circleTake digital x-rays, intraoral scans, and patient photos
- check_circleGreet patients warmly and create a positive first impression
- check_circleManage phone calls, emails, and recall confirmation systems
- check_circleCoordinate new patient intake, consent forms, and financial arrangements
- check_circleVerify insurance coverage, collect copays, and prepare treatment estimates
- check_circleSchedule and confirm appointments using Open Dental software
- check_circleMaintain accurate patient records while following HIPAA protocols
- check_circleProvide post-operative instructions and ensure patient comfort
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of dental front office experience
- verifiedProficient in Open Dental
- verifiedKnowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance coordination
- verifiedX-ray license and DA or RDA certification (preferred)
Nice to Have
Hybrid assisting experience. X-ray license and DA or RDA certification.
