Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign, document, and maintain field and corporate accounting workflows within Deltek Vantagepoint
- check_circleTranslate accounting requirements into Deltek-aligned workflow execution with the Deltek Administrator
- check_circleIdentify gaps between current practices and Deltek capabilities to recommend process adjustments
- check_circleProvide training and guidance to accounting and finance users on Deltek system operations
- check_circlePartner with the Controller to support close processes, recurring activities, and compliance needs
- check_circleParticipate in customization decisions by evaluating requests for accounting impact and system sustainability
- check_circleEnsure accounting workflows produce clean, consistent, and reliable data suitable for reporting
- check_circleMaintain documentation for accounting-related workflows, controls, and usage standards within Deltek
- check_circleIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort within accounting processes
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- verifiedMinimum of 3 years of hands-on experience within Deltek or a similar role supporting SQL-based software
- verifiedProven expertise in configuring and supporting accounting and financial management teams
- verifiedFamiliarity with project-based professional services firms, engineering-focused firms preferred
- verifiedExperience with SQL or a similar language clearly is a plus
