The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role serves as a vital link between the store and its customers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and the secure collection of returns, including new items, warranties, and cores.
In addition to driving, the position involves managing the delivery fleet's daily operations using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. The role requires a high degree of responsibility regarding vehicle security, including the safekeeping of keys, fuel cards, and collected monies. While the primary focus is on delivery, the role is dynamic; depending on business needs, team members may assist with customer service, cashier duties, merchandising, stocking, and general store maintenance.
