About the Role

The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role serves as a critical link between the store and the customer, ensuring timely delivery of new parts, warranty items, and cores, while also handling customer returns.

In this position, you will manage the entire delivery lifecycle using fleet management hand-held devices to process transactions, capture signatures, and update vehicle records. Beyond driving, the role involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security, managing fuel and fleet credit cards, and ensuring all monies collected on C.O.D. deliveries are handled securely. The position requires adaptability to changing delivery situations and strong interpersonal communication to address customer needs or report vehicle issues immediately.

While the primary focus is delivery, the role is dynamic. Depending on business needs, you may assist customers, serve as a cashier, or support store operations through merchandising, stocking, and general maintenance tasks.
