About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking dedicated to connecting customers with their favorite local restaurants through a seamless delivery experience. As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in this mission by picking up food orders and delivering them safely and on time. You will use the Uber Eats Driver app to manage your own schedule, choosing when and how much you want to work, whether it be during lunch, dinner, late night, or weekend hours when demand is highest.

Day in the Life

Your day begins by using the Uber Eats Driver app to accept delivery requests. You will navigate to local restaurants, pick up food orders, and deliver them to customers, ensuring that every order is handled with care and delivered in a timely manner. Throughout the day, you will communicate through the app when needed and follow specific delivery instructions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements to Get Started

To join the team, you must be an independent contractor and provide your own vehicle, bike, or scooter, or scooter, along with a valid driver’s license, insurance, and a smartphone, and insurance. You are expected to follow all traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures while working. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work part-time or full-time based on your availability and the demand in your area.
