About the Role
Uber Eats is seeking dedicated to connecting customers with their favorite local restaurants through a seamless delivery experience. As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in this mission by ensuring food orders are picked up and delivered safely and on time. You will use the Uber Eats Driver app to accept delivery requests, navigate to restaurants, pick up food orders, and deliver them to customers. Your role is essential in providing good customer service and ensuring orders are delivered in a timely manner.
How You Work
This position offers flexibility, allowing you to choose your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want. You can work part-time or full-time, full-time, or during specific peak hours such as lunch, dinner, late night, or weekend hours when delivery demand is highest. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for providing your own vehicle, driver’s license, insurance, and smartphone to use the Uber Eats Driver app. You must follow traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures while working. Communication through the app is encouraged when needed to ensure smooth operations.
