About the Role
American Tire Distributors is seeking a Delivery Driver to join a work family that values collaboration, innovation, and dedication. In this role, you will be the face of our company, delivering products to customers while ensuring their satisfaction through on-time delivery and professional interaction. You will build strong customer relationships and represent the company with pride in every encounter.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve the timely transportation of products from origin to destination, followed by unloading and staging items at the customer's place of business. You will verify outgoing and incoming product for accuracy regarding size, amount, and type, and handle necessary administrative paperwork to accompany shipments. Occasionally, you may operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts or pallet jacks. A significant portion of your time (75%) will be spent on the road, engaging with customers and navigating field service interactions to ensure their needs are met with enthusiasm and efficiency.
