About the Role
As a Delivery Driver for VDOT, you will serve as a vital link between our operations and our valued customers. This role goes beyond simple transportation; you will address customer needs, pick up and deliver parts for VDOT sites, and assist with critical inventory control. Your day will involve meeting and greeting customers, reviewing requisition forms for accuracy, and answering questions regarding part availability. You will drive to designated locations to purchase and pick up parts, ensuring all documentation and invoices are correct before returning products to the MANCON location. Additionally, you will assist with data entry for invoices and vendor receiving documents, as well as participate in weekly inventory cycle counts and wall-to-wall inventories.
