About the Role
This position serves as a Day Porter, performing essential custodial work to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. You will be responsible for cleaning approximately 4,500 to 5,000 square feet within a one-hour window, ensuring all areas meet industry standards. Your day will involve routine cleaning of office areas, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and stairways, as well as vacuuming carpets, dusting fixtures, and managing waste disposal.
As a key member of the team, you will ensure that cleaning carts are not left unattended and that hallways remain clear of debris. You will also play a vital role in safety by identifying hazards, reporting structural concerns, and following strict procedures for cleaning bio-waste and using personal protective equipment (PPE). This role requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
