About the Team
Maximus has been the trusted enrollment broker for the Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) since 2007. Our mission is to support the state's Eligibility Control Center by delivering unbiased, member-focused assistance. We help eligible Indiana residents understand their health coverage options, guide them in selecting managed care health plans, and assign plans for those who do not make a selection. Our team is dedicated to ensuring every individual receives clear, accurate information to make informed decisions that best meet their healthcare needs.
About the Role
As a Data Science Manager, you will drive data-informed decision-making across the Indiana Eligibility Control Center program. This is a remote leadership position where you will oversee the ongoing development and operations of a high-performing Data Science, Reporting, and Business Analysis team. You will provide vision, guidance, and mentorship to staff while establishing a strategy for the productization of data science artifacts and delivering Data Science as a Service.
In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between project operational groups and client stakeholders, driving cross-functional alignment and elevating transparency. You will work closely with reporting and business analysts to interpret complex datasets, translating them into compelling stories for business partners and senior leadership. Your day-to-day will involve compiling and evaluating data to improve operational processes, identifying trends, and solving deep-rooted problems related to staffing, workforce management (WFM), or operational efficiency. You will also manage Business Analyst performance, determine priorities, and ensure the team aligns with key organizational and project goals.
