About the Role
This position supports the Data Operations team in understanding product performance and manufacturing processes. The role is designed for individuals with a strong interest in biotechnology, biology, microbiology, and/or diagnostics who are currently enrolled in a university degree program.
You will work closely under supervision to collect and analyze large bodies of data, develop hypotheses to explain these findings, and conduct laboratory experiments to test them. These activities drive changes to manufacturing processes to achieve better product performance and throughput. Your work will involve assisting in the visualization and analysis of data, designing experiments, and writing technical reports.
Working Environment
This role requires the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly for most of the day and to ascend or descend stairs, ladders, and ramps. You will be expected to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions. The position does not involve operating heavy machinery or domestic/international travel.
Application Instructions
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a university-degreed program. Preference is given to undergraduate students pursuing a Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering-related bachelor's degree. Previous work experience in a laboratory setting or coursework with a laboratory component is desirable.
