The Data Center Construction Site Manager is the driving force behind the engineering, design, and construction of new production facilities and the modification of existing ones at our Vint Hill, VA location. This role exists to anticipate, plan, and coordinate ongoing and future construction requirements, ensuring that our infrastructure evolves to meet the demands of a rapidly scaling cloud environment.
In this position, you will lead the bid, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation processes while defining construction modes and methodologies. You will collaborate closely with PM Design & Commissioning and local third-party vendors to develop general schematics and layouts for electrical distribution, cooling, network cabling, and fit-outs. Your day-to-day involves managing the construction schedule and budget, supervising material reception, and ensuring strict adherence to OVHcloud quality requirements and federal, state, and local health and safety regulations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving technical non-conformities and providing status reports on every phase of the project.
