As a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst, you will serve as a critical bridge between complex security requirements and operational realities within federal environments. You will work directly with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to review, consolidate, and develop cybersecurity policies that align with DLA requirements. Your expertise will ensure a delicate balance between rigorous security protocols and the operational needs of the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and military organizations.
In this role, you will be fully versed in the general tenets supporting the overall DoD implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and processes. A key part of your day-to-day involves briefing senior management on cybersecurity policy changes, updates, and progress, ensuring leadership is informed and prepared to navigate the evolving threat landscape.
This position is based at the DLA Land and Maritime facility in Columbus, OH, within a low-noise office environment. The standard schedule is a day shift, Monday through Friday. However, flexibility is required, as you may be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet specific program and contract needs.
